Pregnancy photos… what (not) to wear?

Remember when Demi Moore posed nude and pregnant on the cover of Vanity Fair? Heck, people still talk about that photo all these years later. I guess somewhere, in some people's minds, pregnant women should be covered up.

Wrong!

That leads me to this question: Would you take nude photos while pregnant?

MOM #1

I have plenty of photos that my husband liked to take of me when I wasn't looking (surprising my nine-month-pregnant self in the shower), but the ones I really cherish are my professional maternity photos. Robin made me feel so comfortable, and I relaxed pretty quickly. It helps that Robin is a parent herself, and can see things through my eyes. The nudes have very strategically placed hands, legs and angles so you never saw anything “private”. We also had some with my husband. Both of us were clothed with my belly sticking out of a button down shirt. I love those shots. My pictures are black and white, and they hang in my master bathroom so no one is subjected to them unless they come upstairs to my bathroom. Robin said the perfect time to do photos is at 32 weeks. You are really showing, but the baby hasn't dropped and you (usually) aren't so big that you are uncomfortable and swollen!

MOM #2

Robin has the amazing ability to actually capture grace. Her style is very unique, and her personable approach will put you at ease--even while being photographed virtually nude. Photos of myself that she has taken really reflect my personality and are works of art!
