The Walk Through

The Walk through is a necessary evil. We plan it a couple of days prior to your wedding, as the light changes dramatically through the seasons. I also prefer to schedule our meeting around the same time of day that we will be taking the photos of the Bride & Groom.

The Weather

Weather.com is a useful site for those of you that may not know what the weather history is on your particular date - or the estimated sunrise & set times. Remember though, the sunset time is based upon the horizon line and in actuality it dips behind the mountains about an hour before that, so subtract one hour from the predicted sunset time. You'll need to be finished taking your outdoor shots by then, or you might as well get married in Topeka...as you won't see any mountains in your background!

The Homework

I ask you to give me the following index cards at the walk through to help me identify important family members, finalize the timeline and become familiar with the extra important groups you might want photographed. Take a look at the samples.
